Acts 9:1-25 shows us that Saul’s striving against Jesus was powerless before the risen Christ, who confronted him, humbled him, and began reshaping him into a new person. The sermon reminds us that transformation does not come by trying harder, but by placing ourselves before God through His Word, His Spirit, and His church so that the scales can fall from our eyes and we can respond, “Here I am, Lord.”
